A running festival with high ambitions
We have set the bar high and want to become one of Sweden’s most popular running events for relay teams and ultra runners. In addition to having a very pleasant route, along the scenic and popular Gotaleden trail, we are creating a public festival along the route, at all stage goals and at the finish in Nolhagaparken in Alingsås.
We have a large catchment area for exercisers and therefore expect a large turnout from locals. But we also expect visitors from outside (yes, actually even beyond the country’s borders) who will be offered hotel packages at some of the fine hotels we collaborate with.
For the first year, we have calculated with just over 2,500 runners and more than 7,000 visitors
